The poop! The poooooop!
Image hosted by Photobucket.com

My God, I'm sick of poop.

The big twins will not stop taking off their diapers. We've had two poop incidents in the playroom now. Which results in a huge amount of work for me that I just don't have time for. This last time I had to wipe down every damned toy with Clorox wipes and shampoo the carpet. I've got the kids in the dorkiest outfits ever - they're a little big to be wearing onesies, but they ARE, man, they are. The boy actually took off his diaper and pulled it out through the leg of his onesie yesterday! They're talented little brats, I'll tell ya. And duct taping them isn't really an option, because they just pull them right off like underwear. I guess I could fashion duct tape suspenders to keep them on, but it probably would hurt to pull all that tape off, so we won't be doing that.

Oh, I can't wait for this phase to pass!! (Especially since...well, do you know how hard it is to find onesies in a size 3T???)

I feel so fortunate. My 2 year old freaks out if his diaper even feels a little bit loose! He also has zero interest in figuring out how to take his clothes off. I'm sure that somewhere in there that's all a bad thing, and he'll be in diapers and having me dress him till he's 15, but for now, after your story, I'm happy.

Oh my gosh, Matthew just started doing that! I am just annoyed with it. He started about 4 days ago and always during nap time or bed time. He takes his off before falling asleep so now I have to check on him and then I end up waking him up and then it starts over again. I have even tried backwards. He manages to undo his with a oncie on too! I am SO ready for him to potty train! Hopefully your big twins will stop that soon!

I used to get onsie type shirts at Children's place in 3T. Might be worth taking a look!

When Daniel was in his spica cast, we had to find onesies to fit him plus be big enough to go over top of the cast. Oddly enough I found some large ones at Walmart of all places. Check their baby isle out if you haven't already...we bought Gerber onesies in a large 27-34 lbs (they were out of x-large) and child of mine (carter's) in 18 months 24-26 lbs. The thing about these particular brands of onesies is they stretch like nuts. I love them. Try them out!

Yeah, I was gonna say what Felicity did...those Gerber XLarge onesies are HUGE. Shan has always been a big kid, and I know she was wearing them for sleeping and messy projects up to like age 2-1/2 to 3...so I know they'd fit your guys.

I ended up finding some at Babies R Us - wifebeater style, so they can wear them comfortably under their regular clothes. Hope they work! (They look GIANT - they're funny looking! I'm used to seeing Gerber Onesies in newborn sizes!) They look like they might actually be a little big on the girl.

Do they take them off because they know there's poop in them and they don't like that feeling? Because if that is the case, and they're aware that when they poop, they want to get rid of it-- you can feel free to start plopping them on a potty chair. Who knows, they might be ready.

Gerber has the biggest f'ing onsies ever. We have to keep Colin in them for the same reason, minus the poop. Instead he relishes in the fact he can piss on random objects that don't include his potty.

Augh, kids.

Yea, I'm sick of poop too.
Eva is showing all the classic signs of being ready to use the potty, even asking to go and then going! She even asks to wear her big girl panties or to go naked, but then moments later she'll poop and then freak out. :|
Good luck with the diaper taking off stage. The other morning, she took of her diaper and then dropped it right in front of my face while I was sleeping. BLEAH!
