Cruise says, 'Here is a woman, and I care about Brooke Shields because I think she is an incredibly talented woman. You look at, where has her career gone?' Despite the Minority Report actor's declaration her career is over, Shields is currently receiving rave reviews playing murderess Roxie Hart in the London theatre production of Chicago. Cruise maintains, 'These drugs are dangerous. I have actually helped people come off. When you talk about postpartum, you can take people today, women, and what you do is you use vitamins. There is a hormonal thing that is going on, scientifically, you can prove that. But when you talk about emotional, chemical imbalances in people, there is no science behind that. You can use vitamins to help a woman through those things.' "
Gee, he's a real PAL calling her career over and judging her for trying to get help to be a better mother. What an asshole.

I heard about this interview on a radio interview with Billy. Cruise screwed his opinion over because Oprah beat him to it by having Brooke on her show where every woman in America could already sympathize with her story. I saw him on Oprah recently and he acted like an idiot. He really truly had nothing of substance to say and he kept grabbing Oprah's hands and shaking them violently back and forth...was driving me nuts. He was such a moron.

Nice guy. Geez. You know, theey make those drugs for a reason: Because some people need them. WTF is HE to tell anyone what someone else needs?
I personally think there are WAY too many people on various drugs who don't need them, but that doesn't mean NO ONE does or that I (or HE) have any right to judge people for doing what they need to do.
I swear. Whatever.

I also hate people who give scientology a bad name. That is not what it is all about. Please they dont want you to be up on your high horse preaching about what others should do.
Being that Tom Cruise's former wife never birthed the two children they have and therefore never experienced the drastic postpartum hormonal drop that occurs, I really don't think he's entitled to an opinion! And quite frankly - his career hasn't exactly been sparkling either.
I read the article about Brooke Shields in Good Housekeeping and when it comes down to the fact that you are envisioning harm to your newborn child - you get help, whatever that may be. Thank goodness she did!
